MY VERSION OF MODEST FASHION
Hey guys,
As some of you may have noticed, Fashion Bloggers today are very numerous on social media. The Jewish fashion blogger is getting there as well. So why read my page?
My main focus here is not to flaunt every piece of clothing I own, nor is it to show you my new Prada or Gucci purse in every other picture, but rather to go deeply into what modest fashion really is. Hey don't get me wrong, the fancy gowns and luscious hairdos are stunning and I do appreciate classy and expensive beauty, but I am here to focus on something different.
To start off, as some of you may have seen my style on Instagram @hassidic.hipster.girl, you may have noticed that its very casual, and thats simply because that is what I feel most comfortable in. Each person has their unique style and its important they stick to it in order to create their individuality.
Personally if I wear something super fancy on a regular basis, I wont feel comfortable walking around in the streets. I use to buy anything i liked, but then I noticed something... the fancy super dressy clothing would just stay in my closet. I would always wonder why I kept buying them but never wearing them. And then I realized, even if I like fancy clothes -its simply just not me.
It is so important that you feel like yourself at all times for many reasons:
1. Feeling like yourself makes you feel confident.
2. Feeling like yourself gives you the capability of giving an honest advice to whom ever needs it.
3. Feeling like yourself only helps you grow like yourself as oppose to growing into someone you're not.
4. Feeling like yourself attracts new opportunities, and the right opportunities that eventually craft your path of life.
5. Feeling like yourself is the way to feel because why be someone else when you can be you?! Get where I'm going with this?
OK, now that we have that brief intro, I will go into many topics on Modest Fashion and the deeper meaning behind it as I go along with the blog, so stay tuned and enjoy browsing :)
